Overview of the project

Career Connect was made possible with the collaboration of Concentric sky an award-winning software and design development studio in Oregon. As a product designer, I was brought onto the team to research, ideate, and develop the first launch of the system Badgr where at The University of North Texas students would be the first to experience this platform. Being a student and designer, the insight I brought to the team allowed us to think of the user in a more holistic way.

My role as a Product designer was to ideate with our Director and team to come up with a solution to Connect, Track and share the marketable skills students acquired through their college experience at UNT. My responsibilities included researching the current market and Comprehensive learner records (CLR) currently existing.

After Research, my priorities included setting Budgets, Coordinating with the Marketing department, Business Dev's and formulating a plan to tackle the design challenge. During the design process, the challenge was to collaborate and synthesize our thinking with Concentric Sky, our partners working together with their team of Dev, and Product designers to come up with the best possible iteration.
